Passionate about horticulture (she will be happy to show you around her personal garden), Josiane opens the doors to an authentic and exotic country house dating from the 19th century, restored and rehabilitated, nestled in the heart of a peaceful mini rural residential hamlet steeped in history, housing a very elegant restored 14th century Romanesque chapel, backed by an unusual avenue of giant sequoias serving as access, forming a monumental "nave" (a rare wooded ensemble considered literally "remarkable" on the scale of the Saône-et-Loire department). Soothing rural setting, perfectly preserved, perched on a "balcony" & panoramic "belvedere" on a small hill overlooking a bucolic valley of fields & wooded meadows, in the heart of the rolling wine-growing countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises, close to many wild forests (to explore during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides) as well as neighboring vineyards (including the very famous "Mercurey" vintage or the AOC of Givry, the flagship of Burgundy wines, which is said to have been the favorite wine of King Henry IV!). Small, comfortable gîte. Contemporary country style. Carefully flowered & planted terrace, pleasantly shaded under a vine trellis. Access to a large enclosed garden of 700m² located a stone's throw away (shared), planted with trees and plants, offering a beautiful open view of the surrounding countryside, with a fruit orchard (peach, plum, cherry, hazel, kiwi, pear trees... / picking possible during your stay), bordered by the owner's chicken coop (home to her chickens & a goose). Composition: Gîte adjoining the owner's home (total independence without vis-à-vis). Gas central heating.
