we had an amazing stay at Wilber House. the room was extremely comfortable with great fans and air conditioning, the room very clean and fridge stocked with cold water. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we felt right at home. it was easy to communicate even with my bad spanish. the breakfast was fantastic and the horse riding tour was unforgettable. the location was perfect. with the horse tour included this is great value for money -donā€™t think twice about staying here!

Yamy is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. We throughout enjoyed the horseback ride through the valley and visit in the tobacco plantation. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. Really recommended!

The owners are friendly, caring, available. The horse riding was very interesting with the visit of a farm with explanations on the processes of coffee, tobacco y a specific Ron with guayavita very tasty.

Ā”Conquistaron nuestro corazĆ³n! Es una familia increĆ­ble. Tanto Wilber como su mujer Yami y su hija Laura son muy amables y atentos. El entorno es increĆ­ble y la visita a caballo fue muy bonita. Al inicio tenĆ­amos miedo de hacerlo por nuestra falta de experiencia pero Wilber controla muy bien a sus caballos que son muy mansos (semiautomĆ”ticosšŸ˜‹) y nos hizo sentir muy cĆ³modas. El desayuno fue muy completo con cafĆ©, zumo natural, queso, frutas, tortilla y pastitas Su buscas alojamiento en ViƱales, no lo dudes este es tu lugar. AdemĆ”s estĆ” cĆ©ntrica pudiendo ir andando a la zona de resturantes

Yammy and Wilber were the dream host family. The horse ride through the valley with Wilber to the tobacco farm was amazing. A brilliant guide at the plantation explained the tobacco growing process very clearly and you got to try delicious rum, coffee and honey and a cigar which you could then take away with you! Yammy and Wilber were both so kind and helpful, helping me to organise everything I wanted to do in ViƱales. Iā€™d wholeheartedly recommend this home stay to anyone visiting ViƱales!

First and foremost - if this place is still available then book it immediately because it outstanding! The casa along with Yamy, Wilber and her family are so welcoming! The room is lovely and spacious, great shower and handy hairdryer! Great AC and fans. The space for winding down outside the room is perfect. Even better when you get home made crisps and cocktails given to you to replenish the reserves after a long day! Breakfast was theeee best breakfast we had in Cuba (and we stayed for a month and travelled all over) it was so plentiful, and being lactose and gluten intolerant Yamy made sure to maximise on the eggs / fruit and ham so I was full. There was even enough food for packed lunches too. The horse ride was fabulous - very extensive with wonderfully trained horses. We felt very safe with Wilber in charge. Nothing is too much to ask from Yamy and Wilber in fact the thing is - you donā€™t even need to ask. They are very honest, caring and sincere people. Yany is helpful at every turn with great recommendations and advice. Indeed she was in contact well before we arrived in Cuba to assist with booking transfers/ excursions/everything we needed or any questions we had about Cuba or life there. Will be back again one day for sure, and have already recommended our friends and family to go. On a personal note - this family are the loveliest people and we feel we have made a bond with them in a short time and will be life long friends. Cant wait to see them again.

First time in Cuba and Wilber and Yami make you feel so comfortable. We walked the town, Yami arranged mountain bike rentals which we rode to the mural (easy ride), Wilber took us on a horseback tour which was beautiful. We had a beautiful spread of food for breakfast so if your a light eater tell them so there is no wasted food. Room is super clean, with a/c, 2 beds and 2 fans. Highly recommended!

It was perfect stay and The host was really gorgeous! We have the best options here: mango fresh as welcome drink, 4 hours horse riding, wi-fi connection, fully and tasty breakfast. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere is here. Too many cafes, restaurants and little markets around within walking distance, nice and safety area. Here is really good start for a nature trip around. I rally recommend this place to stay!

Yamy is the nicest and most responsive hostess we've met after traveling around the world and staying in BnB on most of our trips. We truely felt welcome and at home at Wilbur house. During our short 3 night stay, we got to know not only Yamy but also her family of 4. We had two breakfasts and one dinner at the casa, and they were all delicious and BIG portions (a must try when you are there!) ..She also went out of her way arranging our transits from Havana to Vinales, with stop in Las Terrazas and directly to HAV on our last day. In addition, She arranged two excellent tours : sunrise hike to Los Acuaticos and Indian Caves, etc. with English speaking guide. I could not say enough about the former highschool English teacher turned tour guide, Raul. We learned so much about life in Vinales, the local people and history.The horseback riding with Wilbur was one of the highlights of our tip to Vinales. It normally costs at least USD 15 pp, but it's free while staying at this casa. We went through some rather wild terrain and ended in the Valle de Silencio. We had to get an extra room at the last minute, and Yamy accommodated our request, my savior! Our room was big, clean and comfortable. WiFI was surprisingly fast! Shower pressure was good. A rarity: fully-stocked fridge with water, 3 different beers, wines (all reasonably priced). What a worthwhile and memorable trip! I will not hesitate sending my own family and friends to Wilbur house on their visits to Cuba!

We received a warm welcome in this home and were very well looked after. They took us on a great horse ride to visit the plantation and eat. They helped us with everything we needed and were really warm and caring people. It was very good that we could pay via WhatsApp as we had not brought enough cash with us. Yami cooks incredibly good food and you get large portions. You can order both dinner, lunch and drinks. In the room there is a fridge, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The room is simply furnished, but you will find a lovely silence here. On the terrace you can sit and enjoy the silence and warm atmosphere from the people, animals and nature around you. It is very centrally located, only a few minutes' walk from the city centre's streets. We loved Yami and her family and would love to come back.
