The check in desk was behind bullet proof glass. Room was clean but very dated with mold in the bathroom, ceiling portion starting to fall in, rust stains in the mini fridge, bubbling paint and chips in the walls. Since the hotel faces a major street it's also quite noisy at night. The staff was pleasant and helpful accommodating my request to be on the third floor since I didn't feel safe on the first floor. Door opens directly to parking lot.

I initially thought I had been mistakenly given a smoking room during my first stay. However, on my second stay, I was assigned a completely different room and noticed the same unpleasant smell again. I’m not sure if it’s some kind of incense, but the odor is strong and off-putting. The rooms themselves are clean, but they really need to address the persistent bad smell. The rooms also don’t have windows that can be opened, so getting fresh air is difficult unless you leave the door open, which isn’t convenient. On top of that, the heater is very loud and made it hard to relax that I had to turn it off.
