Myself and my wife were celebrating our anniversary. Wanted to spend the weekend on the strip. First time staying here and truly enjoyed ourselves. Front desk staff was excellent. Also had staff to help load and unload your vehicles. Parking is across the street ( 27th and Atlantic). Has a restaurant on premises along with a pool. The room was definitely nice, had a small kitchenette and pullout sofa ig needed. Our balcony could easily fit betweet 5 - 7 people. Recommended stay

The room and amenities were nice, but housekeeping was very lacking. Since it was a winter stay, the indoor pool could’ve been a warmer. The free breakfast was nice, but the restaurant in the hotel had very limited food options for dinner.

The hotel was overbooked so we were unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised to be upgraded. I have never experienced this before so very grateful. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. Robert the man who greeted us at our car was so helpful.

Wonderful stay

My wife was raised here so although we are currently visitors, out of towners and tourists we do have a respectful history and understanding of the “intrusion” we could be. VA Beach is slammed in season with well intentioned tourists and the off season is a chance for the locals to relax but here we are. Booked the Hyatt House on Hotels.com, price was fair, has breakfast, indoor heated pool, gym, pet friendly, clean, with beautiful ocean front views. It’s chilly out but still so nice to walk the board walk. Located in a perfect spot with all sorts of gift shops, restaurants, dessert places and more The Hyatt House upon arrival is excellent. Great at the door by 2 valets, I only remember Roberts name and he was great. Informative, cordial and polite. Shook his hand, thanked him and appreciative of his services. As a heads up parking is across the street floors 3-5 in parking garage, get room ticket first. Check in was smooth, seamless and welcoming. Had the pleasure of Rena helping us out, even signed up Hyatt rewards because she was so encouraging. 4th floor room has a great view. I won’t lie we did “sneak” up to the 20th floor to check the view street side… that’s tall and scary for me but cool. Room is spacious, clean, comfortable, inviting and just what we needed. Great balcony view of the ocean. Heads up fridge did not have a freezer. Very nice kitchenette with everything else we needed. Breakfast was delicious, excellent variety, well manned, cleaned and organized.

This is a beautiful property. No one is perfect, but they are close. We enjoyed the comfort and beautiful of our room, relaxing view of the ocean, and safety features for guests.
