Our stay at Hyatt Oceanfront Virginia Beach was very disappointing. The refrigerator did not work and took over a day to be replaced, only to be swapped with another unit that barely cooled. Housekeeping failed to service the room for the first two days, and the front desk was careless, requiring repeated follow-ups for basic requests. The room had clear maintenance issues: the entrance door slammed shut instead of closing properly, and the key card scanner cover fell off on day two. Checkout was also poorly handled due to a system failure, with no receipt provided at the time. Overall, the condition of the room and the lack of service made this a very poor and frustrating stay for a family with small children.

Breakfast was inedible, many things in the room were broken. Bathroom light would time out while you were in the shower leaving you in a pitch black wet unfamiliar room. Even in the off season the valet delays were unacceptable to the point we would walk in 25’ temps vs asking for the car. We would never ever stay there again or recommend it.
