Horrible stay

This stay was horrible the area you check in at is nice renovated but once you get to the elevator and to the rooms it’s ran down the stay was horrible I had a water bug in my closet and it was pregnant the beds aren’t comfortable the shower is dirty and the water pressure sucks , there were ppl that got stuck in that broken down elevator during my check out and the breakfast is horrible they give you left over food and there isn’t much options I wouldn’t recommend staying at this dirty hotel please don’t !!!

Have to have employees come back and reclean room. There was a bowel movement in the toilet and pubic hair all over shower and vomit on toilet seat. We didn’t even get a sorry. Will never stay here again!!!

Great Customer Service!

Taye at the front desk (day shift) was super friendly, extremely accommodating, and helpful in every manner possible! All employee's should emulate her!! Mattress was soft and should be replaced in Room 112, and the refrigerator froze everything inside, regardless of the temperature setting.

Potholes Construction trucks need they're own parking section The water was brown the 1st time I cut the sink on but was fine after that I understand they're going through a remodel and it was amazingly clean throughout

The hotel was a little noisy. Due to the fact they had a boss of young teenage sports teams there. You can hear things through the door even on the third floor the elevator was broken.We had to walk up three sides stairs and the constructor being done was a little much, the rooms were okay and fair, but need it more cleanliness. They are renovating. There are town folk on the first floor then practically live there.Be careful

La Quinta Newtown

Everything was mostly good-great. I really like the staff here. Even the mostly Spanish speaking people try very hard to communicate. I especially appreciate the front desk clerks, cleaning crew, and manager. The only problem (which I have never seen before) was a rather large cockroach in the "sink area" outside the bathroom. Probably should spray after I check out. I didn't bring it in here but I stomped on it.

It was just ok ; reno in progress and needed

I had an okay stay, but I would not stay here again until renovations are fully complete, assuming they also renovate every room. Many things were concerning to me. I understand normal wear and tear, but the two rooms I had experiences in seemed to have problems aesthetically and functionally. The first room that I was in had a window that didn't seal upon closing, leaving a pretty wide, open gap, which I didn't like, so I asked to be in another room. In the next room, the shower worked but the hotel seems to have plumbing/ piping issues because the water pooled as if the drain were fully clogged and there was standing water the whole time. The sink water also ran tinted orange for the first 3 seconds each time I turned it on, and there were major gaps between the wall and the rubber baseboards where there was damage and disrepair. Overall the room, and amenities were dated and in need of the renovation that they will receive. There was a fridge, but it actually was set too cold and froze any and all food I put in it, and the microwave was dated and you had to turn it on a full power mode to get it to really warm your food. I didn't experience any bugs, thank goodness, but it just wasn't cozy feeling at all. They must have started renovation on the third floor, because at one point some debris of some kind was dropped from the unit above me and hit my window on the way down, which was a bit unprofessional. I was treated kindly, but there were a lot of flaws over all.

After I booked the room, I received an email about the construction. My room was dirty underneath both beds, with trash and dust. The bathtub floor had a big bubble. This really needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt. The room was old and rusty and needed to be updated. The staff was friendly and professional.
