What prompted me to write a review was the “resort fee.” The idea that this is a resort is galling. There weren’t enough space to park in the parking lot. The bedspread was stained. A small shampoo bottle that the last guest must have brought with him was sitting on the side of the bathtub. The wooden toilet seat was cracked completely through on one side. There were gouge marks in multiple places on the walls. There was an open space with a bar for hanging clothes, but there were no hangers. The steps to the second floor had stains and bits of concrete missing. I kept my socks on until I got in bed. The next morning I walked across the floor to take a shower and the bottoms of my feet were filthy. What part of any of this sounds like a resort? There are plenty of options in the area. I don’t imagine a would be worse.

Needs exterior TLC. Bathroom did not have a toilet paper dispenser. Closet without hangers. Needs better shower curtains. Metal base lower bed cover and it’s loud when bumped and wakes everyone up. These comments are meant to be for improvement by all means. Besides that all good!

When we booked this property, it was last minute so we did not have high expectations as our hotel of choice is Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt, unfortunately, they were all booked. On route to Ocean 2700 their staff called us to confirm our visit and our arrival time, which we communicated we would be arriving late. As we have had prior experience in the past when our room was cancelled without any notice or communication. At arrival, the staff asked for a credit card for "resort fees and etc" the gentleman also told us if you look at the fine print you'll see that it's stated. After returning, we realized they charged us almost twice the "due at property" fees. There was a lack of parking, but we were fortune to find a spot. When we arrived at the room it was similar to any motel/inn. The bed was comfortable, but their box spring was a makeshift steel cabinet which would echo through the room whenever we sat on the side or getting in and out of bed. The tub was deteriorating, the toilet paper was in a very unusual position, under the sink and 2-3 inches off the floor. As I got ready to shower, I noticed the towels had hairs and stains, so it was disturbing. Overall, their service was great, but for a fairly out-dated property the price in our opinion was a bit steep. Double check your receipt, to make sure

The staff was very friendly when we arrived. We arrived before check in but asked for a parking pass so we could walk to the beach and we were given one without issue-we were also told we could come back an hour before check-in. When we checked in we did a thorough look through room-clean linens and bathroom. The walls in the room were a bit dirty but not an issue for us. I have a bad mold allergy and can say I stayed her without any allergy issue at all.

Do not stay here!!! So gross

We stopped here on the way home from NC. It was absolutely filthy. A rubber glove right outside the door, dirty cup in the windowsill. Walked into the room and the only way I can describe the stench is that it smelled like someone peed on the beds and turned up the heat. Like hot urine. There was also no deadbolt on the door, but that didn’t matter bc we left after seeing and smelling the room and I booked something in Williamsburg for the night. They refused to give me my money back but quite honestly, I’m happier to have been out the money than stay there another second. Absolutely gross.
