Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property and the anthurium flowers dotted through out the property. The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano, Hawaii. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay.
The Hawai’i National Park is only about five minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing the best of what Hawaii has to offer.
The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island.
The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet above sea level.
Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits.
This area stays so lush and beautiful due to its brief rain (sometimes light) showers through out the day so be sure to bring rain gear.
VOLCANO ROOM:
One of our most popular rooms the Volcano Room. It is a beautiful large upstairs studio built with beautiful craftsmanship that has one Cal King bed and one Twin bed that will comfortably sleep 1-3 guest(s).
We also have only one cot with mattress that is available for either room. Please request the cot to your host at least 48 hrs. before your arrival date. With a cot sleeps 1-4 guests.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery through the large wall surrounded windows with a view of the lush jungle treetops and ferns. With this room feature offering a beautiful view of the rainforest it makes this one of our more popular rooms.
Both cabins features a little entertainment area with a smart TV and a dining area that can serve as a workspace.
HAPU'U ROOM: is a cabin that can comfortably sleep two people. With a cot that comes with a mattress it can sleep three. This beautiful room has wall-surrounded windows giving a large view right from your room of the rainforest. This room offers one Queen bed with a kitchenette and a full bathroom. Dining table for two.

The house in the front has a large studio unit upstairs (The Volcano Room) and a 1 bedroom ( The Gecko Room) downstairs.
The trail leads to a back building with two units which are ( The Nene Room) and (The Hapu’u Room) which are side by side units.
