Excellent stay in Volterra!

We had an excellent stay with the family for a week in Volterra. Simona, the host, was very helpful and flexible with the check-in time as we arrived very late in the evening. The house was very clean, everything working well and the kids had a good time in the pool with a view. It’s well located to explore the Volterra and Tuscany area. We can recommend it!

Beautiful Cottage in the Tuscan countryside

This home was great! It's a beautiful 2 bedroom Tuscan style house with stone walls and open wood beams, set aside from the main villa where the owners live. Great location just 5 minutes outside of volterra allowed us to day trip throughout Tuscany and return to the comfort of our own house. The home is clean, and well furnished. The setting in the countryside was lovely , as well as the owners hospitality. We had a fantastic stay with our infant daughter and would definitely return to stay again.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit Ausflügen nach San Gimignano, Siena , volterra, Pomeranca und Lucca. Von der Unterkunft muss man immer mit dem Auto los. Unsere Vermieterin hat uns sehr gute Lokale mit traditioneller Küche empfohlen!

Haus mit Aussicht

Zufahrt zum Haus über eine Schotterpiste. Dies ist aber üblich in der Toskana. Das Haus war blitzsauber und die Aussicht vom Esszimmer ein Traum. Simone ist eine exzellente Gastgeberin. Volterra erreicht man mit dem Auto in einigen Minuten. Es hat in der Umgebung auch sehr gute Restaurants zur Verpflegung aber alles nur mit Auto zu erreichen oder mit E-Bike.

Phantastische Unterkunft

Wir haben uns zwei Wochen in der Villa Caggio aufgehalten. Vor allem die Sauberkeit, der gepflegte Zustand und die Liebe zum Detail in der Einrichtung ist zu erwähnen. Eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieterin wohnt ebenfalls auf dem Anwesen. Wir kommen wieder.

Un super endroit

Location très propre - très bien entretenue - très bon accueil des propriétaires qui sont très attentionnés pour savoir si tout se passe bien - lieu très calme et extrêmement bien situé pour rayonner pour visiter les plus beaux lieux de Toscane - pas de doutes si je reviens en Toscane je retournerai à la villa Caggio !!

Séjour à Volterra

Notre appréciation sur notre séjour à Volterra : La maison que nous avons retenue était propre l'environnement agréable. Cependant, nous émettons quelques réserves : - à notre arrivée la maison était glaciale. Nous avons donc dû effectuer la montée en température. A notre départ, la propriétaire nous a demandé de régler en supplément une somme tres elevee pour le gaz utilisé à cet effet et le chauffage au cours du séjour de 5 jours Elle nous a compté une consommation sans avoir fait de relevé du compteur en notre présence ni à notre arrivée ni à notre départ. Ceci nous a paru exorbitant pour 5 jours et curieux sur la façon de procéder. - La porte fenêtre de la chambre du rez de chaussée est inadaptée car elle est dépourvue de volets ou de stores. Nous avons donc dû l'occulter par nos propres moyens. - L' écoulement de la douche du rez de chaussée est défectueux et de ce fait le 1er matin, nous avons du faire face à une inondation…. - En outre, l'équipement du gîte en électro ménager est sommaire (pas de grille pain, pas de micro ondes, pas de lave vaisselle, lave linge,...) Cordialement
