We were tired when we arrived and ready for our room but there was no one at the front desk. We waited... and then had to call to get someone to the front. They were covered in tattoos and didn't realize they were the receptionist. Mid-September and there were cheesy walmart halloween decorations scattered around. It looked terrible. The next morning, the lobby, dining, and 1st floor area were loud. Mostly from the obnoxious cackle laughter of the front receptionist cutting up with others. It was only 7:30a and there wasn't much breakfast left. At least we didn't hear anyone other patrons in our room with the loud AC unit that blew on our bed all night.

ROACHES. The bathroom tiles and walls were cracked/missing pieces, and there was a huge roach in the bathroom. The room was so humid everything felt wet, It was a weird and nasty experience.

Remodeling?

Location was great to Baylor without being in all the traffic. it looks like recently there was a flood on the 3rd floor and they were remodeling it. It’s basic- a lot of blue collar workers stay during the week. We won’t stay again because there seemed to be better choices around.

Our room was clean but the bathroom certainly needed updating. The bathtub needed to be replaced although it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great as long as you kept it set on 67.

Property is very nice looking around the outside and most of inside, it looks like they are doing some rehab on the 2nd floor, the only thing I would suggest is that they do is make sure they put more towels in bathroom, are's only had one bath towel, also I would suggest they put extra blanket in the room closet, we had to ask and was told that housekeeping locks the room so that wouldn't be possible and we did get a second towel

Looks like our room flooded, there was mold everywhere and had a terrible smell. Almost all the carpet was ripped up on the 2nd floor, horrible experience! I'm just glad it was only 2 nights.
