Decent House, Bad Neighborhood

The house was decent, but it's painfully obvious that it's a thrown together investment property in an undesirable neighborhood. There's metal bars on neighboring homes windows, all sorts of broken windows on homes along the street, there was loud music and loud cars all throughout the night etc. The faucet on the bath was falling off, the floor was coming up in areas - just all very thrown together (which is wild for $300+ for a single night). It was an okay place to stay for the night, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

Super Cute Home

We were in town briefly to move our daughter into her dorm at Baylor. This location was perfect for getting back and forth from the college. Communication with the host was excellent. The home was clean and well-suited for our stay. However, the flooring throughout the house has expanded and cupped to the point of being a tripping hazard if you aren't aware (like in the night). We were ok with it, just be aware if you have elderly family.

Charming Cozy Home

My sister in law and I took a little mini vacation to get away. We had a wonderful time. The cottage was perfect. Beautifully remodeled. Great communication with host. Loved that they provided coffee pods, shampoo and other necessities. I had forgotten some of these items. The neighborhood is older. Felt safe with fenced in yard, lighting and security measures in place. . Two homes next door being remodeled.
