Not going back!

We were traveling home and decided to stop here to spend the night and finish the trip the next day. Unfortunately, Sarah (front desk) was the only pleasant thing about our stay. Although the room was "cleaned" it was cleaned with something that was extremely strong to smell and had me coughing. We hardly got any sleep because there was stomping, beating, and noise all night long from whomever was above us. It sounded like construction. It started as soon as we checked in, but I figured it would stop by bedtime. It never stopped so, I called the front desk at 2:30 am and told them what was going on and to allow him to hear it on my phone. He assured me he was going to call them. It did not stop until 6:30am!!!! Between that and the air conditioning sounding like a plane taking off every time it cut on, I was sleep deprived. Our room had gnats in it as well. I'm sure it was because they asked us not to flush the toilet tissue, because they were having plumbing problems. To add to all of that, you could hear every vehicle passing by on the freeway. I was never so ready to leave a hotel in my life.

The entire place smelled of strong lysol/cleaning solution. The floor in our room was wet/puddles. The freeway is 50 yards away and it was very noisy (given room on that end facing freeway, our fault for not requesting other) facility appears to have large amount of long term tenants. We left at 330 in morning an homeless guy at front door asked if he could have our room. I have to chuckle as to the state of this facility(sign of the times i guess) Super 8 by Wyndam should be ashamed. The 1 person On staff was pleasant. I could go on but why, one of top 3 WORST ive stayed. Beware.

The Hotel smelled like cigarettes. Even the hallway stunk. The Hotel is 20 yards from Freeway so super noisy. Close to Baylor and cheap room. But smelly place.

Yuck.

The entire third floor smelled like pot. They even had the hallway windows open to help ventilate. The table by the bed had sticky stuff all over it, I had to cover it with a towel. The desk had sticky stuff on it, my bag got stuck in it. The woman cleaning the breakfast area was scrubbing cabinet doors which made us have to reach over her, then she left the nasty rags on the counter. The bathroom door had holes in it. The toilet flusher was backwards and in the far corner making it hard to reach to flush. I can handle a few issues, we were only sleeping and hitting the road again early, but this was excessive.

All the hotel and room have a strong smell like smoking… bed uncomfortable and dirty. I stayed in a lot of different super 8 and motel 6 and no problems… but this one was definitely the worst.

Room was super dirty Smokey damp smells everywhere inside out side room. After check in I was out when I back the room floor was wet and full of water. Asking help at the reception area and they gave towel to clean the floor by myself. Middle of the night wake up and saw bugs flying inside the room. At the morning wake up with the sounds of hammer nailing the wall or floor. Also at the evening one guy knock at the door and said wrong room, mid night the same guy knock at the door. Restroom was pretty basic and minimal supply and there I found small insects playing around.

Worst stay ever

This was the worst hotel ive ever stayed at when i arrived i got out of my vehicle and had a horrible stinch coming from the rooms on the upper floors then when checking in the attendant did even check id to maje aure i wsd who i said i was got in the room and the a/c didnt work and floor was all sticky the sheets on the bed stunk said there was no one to look at the issues i had told them about over all horrible stay and couldnt sleep due to the people around us had liad music

Okay stay for price.

The room smelt clean… almost too clean as it had a strong smell of pine-sol. However, the bed, bathrooms, and everything was clean and orderly. My room was missing any kind of extra seating aside from desk chair so it left a big void in one side of the room. Odd! The hallways were very warm like no ac pushed through hut no issues in the room itself.

Good for Short Trips

I had to wait about thirty minutes before I could go into my room. They were still cleaning it and it wasn't ready when I got there way after the check-in time. Fortunately, the maintenance person was really kind to me. I would recommend staying here for quick trips, not for a long run. Hallways were pretty noisy.

The facility said it was a smoke free facility. But honestly, the whole hotel smell like cigarettes. The elevator, hallway, dining area. It just all smelled like smoke. Encountered a couple of small cockroaches. Smoke alarm was removed.
