Charming Ma’alaea Banyans 202 is a fully equipped condominium located in a serene resort with 180-degree ocean views. The bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed while the living room has a sofa sleeper, making it an ideal accommodation for up to four guests. Whether you are in the mood to whip up a quick snack or a full-course meal, the full kitchen has everything you need to bring out your culinary skills. The lanai offers sweeping views of the ocean and is the perfect spot to enjoy your meals. Cleanliness is paramount, and the in-unit washer and dryer ensure that you are always fresh and ready to go.

Cooling off from the tropical heat is a breeze with the ceiling fans and living room air conditioning, and guests can stay entertained with the flat-screen TV, complimentary cable, high-speed internet, and free Wi-Fi. Ma’alaea is located at the base of the isthmus that divides east and west Maui, providing easy access to various Maui attractions with low commute times (15 to 40 minutes) to Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kahului, Paia, and Makawao. Haleakala Summit and Hana are further, but well worth the drive. Whether you choose to stay local or venture forth, it's a win-win situation! With free parking, one vehicle per unit, parking is also not a problem.

Nice view and resort convenient to area sites. The host did have a new toaster delivered when the one in the condo would not work. No response to our finding a drawer with A pan with old vegetables that had molded throughout the drawer.The condo itself has been poorly maintained. The furniture and bedding were worn out and uncomfortable. There were outlets and light switches that did not work. Carpet was old and had been partially covered with a thin area rug. The toilet also ran most of the time and the unit could use a more thorough cleaning.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to park your belongings and adventure it is perfect. It was clean and well located.

Anniversary trip

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The location was perfect- not too crowded but centrally located to many points of interested. We loved coming back to the unit to relax on the balcony to the beautiful views. I highly suggest walking to the beach at sunset, as we caught a glimpse of at least one turtle every night. We would love to come back again in the future.

Nice place!

This condo is right along the ocean, so the view is wonderful. There is a small lanai with a table we sat at and had breakfast and at night I would leave the window open to listen to the waves. It is an easy 15 minute drive to Kihei. the carpets could use a cleaning, but everything else was clean and also a safe area with pleasant people to say hello to. We would stay here again.

Amazing views!

We have stayed at Maalaea Banyans since 1990 in many of the condos. The views are outstanding, we love the location and walking on sugar beach. Unit 202 could use some updating, even just comfortable furniture would be great. The floors need a good scrubbing but over all the unit worked for our basic needs.
