Holiday Home in Ovifat with Sauna & Forest

This luxury 14-bedroom holiday home is in Ovifat near ski area. It is ideal for families or groups and can accommodate 36 guests. This home has a sauna for you to enjoy and relax after a tiring day.

The home is only 100 m away from the forest. Skiers can take the ski lift available just 100 m away. The local grocery stores are 500 m away from the home. The town centre is 1 km away if you would like to explore the little town. Try out local delicacies in the nearest restaurant only 1 km from the home.

Central heating is in place to keep you comfortable inside. A high chair and children’s beds are provided to the little guests on request. A table football, billiards, and boules court are provided for recreational purposes. Parking is also available on the premises for your convenience. A terrace offers a perfect place to have your barbecue nights. You can bring 2 pets to the home for a nominal charge.

You can check-in from 4-6 PM and you can check-out from 9-10 AM.

Great location for big family weekends. Child and elderly friendly. Nice sauna and play room (air hockey, pool table, football table) We specially appreciated the old fashioned bar area with enough tables for a flexible setting. A big fully equipped kitchen that allows to make meals for large groups. Nice outside space and as it was winter we had snow. Calm and quiet road. Not for very loud groups, as the neighbors are very strict about noise after 22h. Not for people looking for very modern and flashy design.

We had a pleasant stay in Le Fagna with 33 people (15 kids). The house is in a good location and very big with lots of rooms and a cosy living room and dining area. The rooms are a bit damp in the morning but not problematic. The professional kitchen is absolutely fantastic with lots of material and space. Everything we needed for such a large group was available. The energy bill was high though due to the heating system. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if we ever do this again.

Es war eine angenehme Zeit. Wir hatten unsere Ruhe. Eigentlich wurden die Erwartungen an die gemeinsamen Tage erfüllt. Was mich nur gestört hat, dass man dem Gebäude das Alter deutlich angemerkt hat. Die Ausstattung würde ich als 'passabel' einstufen. Viele kleine Baustellen und Beschädigungen, die nicht beseitigt werden. Aber gut, da brauchte man dann eben auch nicht so sehr auf die Kinder aufpassen... Die Gastgeber auf jeden Fall super nett!

Das Haus ist ideal für einen Urlaub mit einer großen Gruppe inklusive Kindern! Der große Garten bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Toben und Spielen. Das Trampolin war ein Erfolg! Der Grill und die Terrasse sind bei schönem Wetter wunderbar. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge ins Hohe Venn, nach La Gileppe, zum Lake Robertville, ... Die Industrieküche ist praktisch eingerichtet. Es gibt ausreichend Küchenutensilien, 3 Kühlschränke, einen Gefrierschrank und eine Industriespülmaschine. Das Wohnzimmer (inkl. Bar aus einem ehemaligen Hotel) und die Schlafzimmer (fast alle mit Bad) sind einfach, aber praktisch eingerichtet. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und bereit, alle Probleme zu lösen.

Een mooie gelegenheid voor een grote groep. Voldoende ruimte zowel buiten als binnen. Ook de omgeving heeft veel te bieden. Wij hebben hier met veel genoegen een midweek met 25 personen doorgebracht. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn erg aardige mensen en helpen je om het verblijf te laten slagen.

Het vakantiehuis was prima voor onze groep. Maar grote ergernis is het slechte contact met belvilla. Booken en achteraf geautomatiseerde mails krijgen verloopt vlot. Maar na de Booking nog gegevens wijzigen of in contact komen met belvilla was onmogelijk. Gelukkig wel een goed verblijf gehad.

Eigenaar kon niet komen bij onze aankomst, heeft telefonisch uitgelegd hoe wij binnen konden raken. Later is hij ter plaatse geweest, gaf zeer duidelijke uitleg over alles en gaf aan steeds bereikbaar te zijn bij eventuele problemen (die er helemaal niet geweest zijn) Toplokatie voor grote groepen, vele slaapkamers met elk eigen toilet en douche, alles proper en netjes. Mooi grote ontspanningsruimte.

Zeer tof huis voor een reünie zoals wij één gehouden hebben afgelopen weekend. Leuke bar, grote keuken, spelletjes en zo goed als iedereen eigen kamer plus badkamer. Alleen de living is iets minder knus, maar voor een weekend ok. Ook had onze douche gedurende een dag geen warm water, maar bij de andere kamers in orde. Omgeving zeer rustig met skipiste op wandelafstand en toffe wandelpaden. Tenslotte waren ook de verhuurders zeer sympathiek en vriendelijk (zelfs toen we een beetje te vroeg arriveerden).

Leuk gelegen vakantiehuis waaruit men ideale wandelingen kan gaan maken naar bv Hoge Venen, Reinhardstein... Mooie een tuin voor de kinderen en een grote parking. Vriendelijke eigenaar, alles verliep correct. Bij sneeuw kan het hier vrij druk zijn, daar het huis vlak bij de skipisten van Ovifat gelegen is. De Kamers waren geriefelijk en proper, goed uitgeruste keuken waar je toch wel voor de hele bende kan koken. De beschreven faciliteiten zoals de biljart laten een beetje te wensen over. De borg van 1250 is redelijk hoog, toch betaalden we 750 euro vaste kosten. De schoonmaak ùoest nog een apart betaald worden. Deze zou ook van de borg kunnen genomen worden. Enkele kleinere herstellingen zouden ook moeten uitgevoerd worden. (vb proper maken van dakgoten, zodat je niet steeds een vlaag water over je krijgt als buiten stapt, douchedeur ....)

De omgeving was top, leuke gedaan en gezien. De accomodatie is minder. In totaal hebben we ongeveer 2100,00 euro betaald voor een lang weekend (vrijdagmiddag 16.00 uur tot maandagochtend 10.00 uur. Er is ook een betaling gedaan van 1250,00 euro borgsom. Dit is een giga bedrag. Later begreep ik waarom. De buren zijn bang voor overlast en bij overlast bellen zij direct de politie. Als het heel mooi weer is en je kunt buiten zitten en je bent met meer dan 20 personen, wat is dan overlast? Natuurlijk hoor je die mensen praten en lachen m.i. Binnen hangt er een papier waarop het volgende is vermeld' Aandacht - het verstoren van de vrede - Respecteer de buurt van 22h00 2 06h00 Geen terugkeer van de aanbetaling in geval van problemen Ik had graag op de website gelezen dat je na 22.00 uur niet meer buiten kunt zitten met een groot aantal mensen en dat je anders de borgsom kwijt kunt raken. Dat is toch een duur grapje dan-) Dan mag ik hopen dat de schoonmaakkosten, gas, water , reinigingskosten etc er wel van worden ingehouden. Wat we aan reinigingskosten (het vuil voor de container, lege flessen en kranten)voor een weekend betaald hebben dat betaal ik nog niet voor een heel jaar, 0.60 euro is een hoog bedrag. Wij hebben dus niet goed gekeken en ons gerealiseerd dat de bijkomende kosten zo hoog zouden zijn. ook het betalen van gas, olie en electra is aan de hoge kant. Er is daarbij een verschil wat er op de website van belvilla staat en wat er uiteindelijk betaald moet worden. De verwarming is niet uit te krijgen, als je 's nachts je bed uitstapt, verbrand je je voeten, zo heet zijn de leidingen die onder de tegels doorlopen. En we hebben echt alle verwarmingen dicht gedraaid. Ook op de slaapkamers hangt zo een vrolijk briefje, dat als je geen beddegoed gebruikt er een ''straf'' opstaat van 9.00 euro. Verder zijn het meubilair en tuinmeubelen oud, ook het serviesgoed etc is oud en niet compleet. Met de familie gaan we ongeveer al 11 jaar een weekend weg en huren we een woning. Tot nu toe hebben we nog nooit gehad dat we niet terug zouden gaan naar een gehuurde woning. Bij deze woning zijn we unaniem van mening dat we hier nooit terug naar gaan.

Vlotte en efficiënte ontvangst, heldere toelichting bij de keukentoestellen. Zeer aangename en gezellige gîte, smaakvol ingericht. Leuke tuin voor een zomerverblijf. Gevarieerde wandelingen in de nabijheid, bos, water en open landschap. Mooie zichten. In het dorp enkel een bakker op zondag, voor andere winkels een half uur rijden.

De omgeving is uitermate geschikt, rustige buurt en ideaal om vandaar de wandelingen te starten. De woning verdient bijna over heel de lijn een fantastischscore op uitzondering van een paar details maar die zeker geen aanleiding tot ongenoegen geeft. (enkele kleine mankementen aan het sanitair vb. lavabo kraantje en douchekop die niet 100% functioneert. Conclusie PRIMA VAKANTIEVERBLIJF !
