This region of Waimes also offers a lot of activities and sights with both Reinharstein Castle and Robertville Lake in the vicinity. Bütgenbach Lake and the Malmedy village lie 8 km away from this place while the High Fens nature reserves falls 10 km away which can all be visited for a nice day outing. You can enjoy skiing in Ovifat area only 7 km away from the house. The town centre lies just 300 m away from where you can get all amenities including groceries._x000D_

Het is een mooi groot en schoon huis. De bedden waren keurig opgemaakt. Het is leuk ingericht. Er is ruimte zat. De kamers zijn leuk ingericht. Het ligt wel aan een drukke straat. Er is een glijbaan en trampoline buiten op een groot grasveld. Een pooltafel en tafeltennis beneden (wel wat krap). Evenals een sauna. Iedereen heeft zich goed kunnen vermaken. En het is een mooie omgeving.

Gute Unterkunft mit schönem Garten und guter Lage für Ausflüge. Leider direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Einrichtung gut für unsere Gruppengröße (10 Erwachsene, 9 Kinder und ein Hund). Teils etwas „abgenutzt“ bspw. Airhockeytisch ohne Lüfter und kaputtem Puk, Schränke und Spülmaschine mit kleinen Macken. Anreise und Abreise unkompliziert und für uns gut. Leider wenig / bis keine weiteren Informationen zur Unterkunft - keine typische Besuchermappe. Alles in allem eine solide Unterkunft mit kleinen Abstrichen. Garten und Aussenbereich haben vor allem Potenzial im Sommer.

Ruim huis met mooie kamers en een pak mogelijkheden: tafeltennis, pool (biljart), airhockey, tv/filmkamer, salon met veel gezelschapsspellen en een grote gezellige tuin met groot terras, waar je met z’n allen buiten kan eten. Minder: alles kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken en aan de straatkant heb je enorm veel last van voorbijrijdend verkeer/straatlawaai.

De kinderen waren dol op de speelkamer en de buitenruimte, terwijl de volwassenen genoten van de sauna en de fitnessruimte. We brachten onze avonden door in de biljartkamer, een geweldige manier om te ontspannen na een dag verkennen. Het nabijgelegen kasteel Reinhardstein was een hoogtepunt van onze reis en de lokale winkels waren op loopafstand. Een echte aanrader voor grote groepen!
