6/10 Okay

We had problems with the remote control for the fireplace. The kitchen stove is old and does not work well. The check in was fine. There were ants in the kitchen property manager sprayed a few timesThey kept coming back. We were there for eight nights. The driveway into the rental is very dangerous and I would suggest that they fix that accordingly and also there’s a lot of noise as the rental is right on the main highway. We didn’t realize that we before we rented it. I give the property management kudos on responding when we had issues The view was great but I would not stay there again.

Beautiful views

We really loved the view of the bay and the ocean, and enjoyed some walks on the beach. Although Waldport is a small community, it is a convenient location to explore other areas on the Oregon coast, which we did while we were there.

Fantastic View

All the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of towels and blankets. It's nice to wake up to an awesome view with a cup of coffee every morning.  The cafe being right next door was a big plus, and the food was delicious.

Great cozy place

Just my husband and I. The place was cozy and had everything that we needed. Lots of towels and washcloths. I always pack spices and my own oil but they did have salt & pepper and some oil spray. We enjoyed watching the boats with their crab pots and people fishing in the bay. Enjoyed watching birds and seals from our porch and from inside. Good location to go North or South. Would definitely recommend!!!

Cute place with bay view

Lots of positives about this place - nice decor, beautiful view, bistro next door. Some noise from road. A little more detail to cleaning would make it near perfect!

Cozy and relaxing!

We did not see the cushions on the outdoor deck chairs but it was still a nice outdoor space. Super clean!!! There is road noise. It didn't bother us any and they are clear in the listing that it's right on 101. It actually felt very private and peaceful for being right on 101. It was great to grab breakfast next door. The yard was nice to let the dog poke around though they do need to stay on leash bc there is a steep drop. Seal Rock is a short drive and a fabulous beach!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It is well suited for 5 adults. The beach is a one minute drive. The scenery from the house is great…a view of the bay, the bridge and the ocean. Will definitely come again!

Cute Cottage with Great View

Very cute property with plenty of space for 3 adults to share for the week. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear (knifes, bowls, utensils, cutting board, stove, microwave...) and the furniture is comfortable. The parking spot was difficult to find the first time, but easy enough afterwards. The view from the porch is incredible. The Pacific Coast Highway is next to the house, but the speed limit is reduced, and the road noise didn't bother us.

Great whale watching spot!

I decided to book this house because of reviews talking about being able to see whales from the house. It did not disappoint! The house sits on a cliff (be cautious near the edge!) and you can see the whale watching boats coming and going from the Depoe Bay marina. On my second day, I saw three whale watching boats very close to the cliff so I knew a whale was in the area. Sure enough a whale was feeding and coming up for air literally 30 yards off the cliff? So fun to sit and watch. This went on for about an hour. Next day, I saw a whale in the same spot directly in front of the house again! The house is comfortable overall. They could use a new mattress on the bed but otherwise very nice stay.

Waldport Adventure

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Hilltop Cafe is next door and the food is amazing. The grass was overgrown and uncomfortable for our dog. The “fence by the bluff was only a rope and not safe for dogs. No privacy while in the yard as the neighbors and their dog are right there. Other than that, nice place!

Crab trip

We went crabbing in waldport. Found this place on Vrbo that allows dogs. The place is cute and clean with great views of bay and ocean beyond. The best place to eat in town is practically next door but. There is a fenced yard so the dog can cruise around.

Perfect getaway on the bay

We enjoyed our time in Waldport. Good location on the bay with nice views, and within walking distance to the beach, and a fantastic coffee shop just up the road. The house was as described, was clean, and cozy. The only downside of this location is the entrance to the property. It’s a tight turn if you’re coming from the north. We figured out how to manage it quickly though, so it wasn’t an issue. We’d still stay here again!
