Good room & location, crusty staff.

I am not sure whether this is where an envelope disappeared from my bag, I noticed too late and when out of Poland altogether. Might have something to do with a particularly unfriendly gentleman at the front desk who stored my bags for 1/2 a day when I arrived? Or with room service? I guess I'll never find out, but caution with your valuables throughout your stay is advised.

Had an amazing stay at Metropol. It was right by the Palace of science and culture bldg and old town is just about 15 min walk. very convenient and lots of restaurant , shopping around. hotel staff were excellent, they hold our bags since we arrive early morning and checking was at 2 pm. They had amazing drinking water machine (hot, cold and sparkling) by the elevator and hot water pot, big glass jug were helpful. Very clean hotel, comfy bed and decent size room based on what we paid. Overall great and we would stay next time.. thank you!

The hotel's proximity to the central rail station is a huge plus, making arrivals and departures incredibly smooth, especially for those traveling by train. This central location also provides easy access to public transport and many of Warsaw's key attractions, putting the city right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, meeting basic expectations for comfort and hygiene. However, the tranquility I hoped for was elusive. Despite being on the 7th floor, my room was subjected to relentless and uneven noise from the city trams. This wasn't a gentle hum, but rather an intrusive, annoying vibration that persisted well past midnight. I would estimate the sound level frequently reached 80-90 dB, even late into the night, making it incredibly difficult to relax or sleep soundly.

lets start with the good things: the location is great the breakfast is very nice. the rest is way below the standard of even a three star hotel. the small room could be over looked but it is so minimal equipped. no extra pillow or blanket, no writing pad or pencil, no welcome small bottle of water. pure corner of coffee. it feels that the hotel is trying to get the maximum giving the guest the minimum. basically NO value for money. and at the check out they are sending you to Expedia to get your stay invoice.

Quiet for the most part, very clean and comfy rooms. Great variety for breakfast! The only minor issue was the club party buses that blasted music from the street as they passed by the hotel a few times past midnight on Friday night. Other than that, it was a quiet experience.

Very good location . A little noisy. The curtains don't close properly and light penetrates very early in the morning. The shower stream is weak and unstable. The breakfast is delicious and delicious. The bed is comfortable and the room size is good. The staff is kind.
