1. The lobby area restaurant/lounge was horribly noisy. One evening we were deafened by some sort of Latin dance festival on the open mezzanine directly above the restaurant. It was extremely loud, probably exceeding legal decibel limits. My wife and I could not communicate. Our waiter (who probably has a justified OSHA complaint for hearing loss) reported that efforts by the bar manager to get the volume turned down were rebuffed by higher ups. It took a good 10 or 15 minutes walking outside after dinner before my hearing returned to normal. 2. The elevators were slow and often out of service. 3. We called housekeeping one morning at 7 a.m. because the room maid had failed to provide our coffee set up. Despite a promise to send up a set up immediately, nothing appeared before we left at 8:30 a.m.
