This detached historical house was built in 1870 and is updated to blend the old with the new. Old Town is known for its historic charm and art, and this home combines both. Great location close to the Old Town Trolley which takes you to the Metro. Easy walk from the house to all of the shopping and restaurants on King Street. Also close to historic Christ Church and other Alexandria landmarks. Our family with four children enjoyed using this as our home base during our Washington, DC vacation. Vat is a superb host and is very responsive. Would definitely plan to return!

This was our third stay at the home. Inside was as great as always. The drive and back parking had some snow and ice through no fault of the owner. Throughout Old Town there were similar conditions. There had been work to make some parking possible. Since the ice was so thick, that must have been extremely difficult. The owner is wonderful to deal with.
