The hotel was truly the perfect place to stay for its location to the ballpark, as well as the Metro and local restaurants. The staff was friendly, the breakfast options were perfect and everything was clean! One major issue to share: the elevator needs serious fixing! The noise in our room was horrible each and every time the elevator moved to a different floor. It kept us up at night! Thank God for Tylenol PM! This needs addressing swiftly!

If you are looking for quiet, this isn’t it. It never bothered us, but during baseball season, it’s loud on the street. We were there for a game, so we enjoyed the ambiance. The Bullpen, is literally right outside the hotel. Another great thing is, so is the Metro. So, it’s super easy to navigate downtown to the museums and come back to Navy Yard. The area is safe enough during the time we went (late April). We traveled with our 12 year old son, and never felt unsafe in the streets or on the Metro. They’ve done a great job keeping this area clean and safe.

We had a great check-in experience! We called around 12pm to see if we could check in (check in is 4pm) and the best front desk agent I’ve ever dealt with answered the phone. From the hello to the good bye she was so great to talk to. She was able to check us in early and sign us up for Hilton Rewards. When we got to the hotel she remembered us from the phone conversation and was the best! So friendly and hilarious!! Our first time in Washington for a Nationals game and she started our stay off GREAT! With that being said, the only downfall I could complain about (and they may not be able to help it) is valet parking. I understand that’s the only option because of the area, but the area is so busy and you can only fit 3 cars at a time in the parking area to wait to have your car parked, that we waited for awhile to be able to park. Like I said, they probably can’t help that, but that’s my only complaint!

Terrible stay

Could not sleep until 12 Am due to police sirens blaring and people hanging outside of our window. Food was terrible, most of it was cold, took on average 15 min between refilling of stations, and had no meat /pork free egg options. Even the coffee ran out. I’ve never been to a hotel and not be able to get a cup of coffee along with a “free” breakfast. We walked into a puddle of water before realizing and being told the pool overflowed into the guest room area on our floor. We had to ask front desk (and spoke with housekeeping manager) how we suppose to get back to our rooms without getting our shoes soaked. We were given plastic bags to wrap our shoes and walk over the water to our room.

My experience was truly a cut above the rest. This hotel made my stay super cozy, convenient and comfortable. From the floor to ceiling windows in my corner suite, the indoor pool, rooftop lounge, complimentary breakfast in the gorgeous lounge area and friendly staff I can’t say enough about my stay. The location is also convenient to area attractions by Uber/Lyft or Public Transit. The only sigh was the quality of breakfast on day two and three of my three night stay declined significantly. The options were extremely limited compared to the first night. There was also very little kitchenware in the suite. For example a pan but no pot and a stirrer but no spatula for the pan. Overall I recommend this location and would absolutely stay again.
