Overall, this was a very good hotel. Nice spacious room, efficient and friendly front desk service, relaxing bar, and very clean. The location is perfect: close enough to all of King Street’s restaurants, shops, and bars, but not close enough to have all the noise and crowds. The valet was a bit slower than I would expect- make certain to request your car before you leave your room. It took about 20-25 minutes to get my car. The bartender was fine except he seemed distracted…One shouldn’t have to flag someone down for simple things. Still, overall, I would return…Enjoyable.

Absolutely loved our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and this is such a beautiful hotel. The design and thought behind everything was impeccable. Everything is pristinely clean. Loved the Kiln as well as the speakeasy. Next time we make it back to Alexandria/DC we will be sure to stay again!

Nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and everything is in really good condition. Friendly staff. My only complaints: no way to regulate the room temperature, and the water pressure could be higher. Everything else was great!

We stayed in the building that is separate from the check in building. I did not like that the door was left unlocked all day and I’m not sure about the night because I was in by 10 PM and the door was still unlocked. I got up the next morning for coffee by 6:30 in the morning and it was still unlocked so I don’t know if was left unlocked all night
