We got to the hotel at 8am and asked to stash our bags for the day until check in. To our surprise, a room was available! It was right next to the train but the room had a sound machine and provided earplugs. The train noise did not bother us at all. Location is super convenient for the Metro and is located in a very cute part of the city with restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Great stay!

Slightly above average location for DC, constant construction in the neighboring streets, 2-3 hour parking that usually pay to park. No on site parking, apparently most of DC is paid parking with overnight fees of 18%. On site was sparse, looked clean, maid services kept forgetting to restock but at least cleaned well enough.

a minimal experience

Our regular visits to DC usually involve stays at Hilton or Hyatt hotels. We found it inconvenient not to have a regular restaurant on the premises. And the breakfasts were rather limited. The room was rather small.

It was a good stay, helpful staff, clean rooms, beautiful light fixtures, modern. However, online listed as in and out privileges for parking- on check in we were told that’s not the case. Breakfast options are very limited. FYI there is a train track right next to hotel, does not always make for the best sleep.
