After receiving my key and directions to my room, I was amazed at the steepness of the stairs. In the States we would call that a ladder. But the room was clean and comfortable and the attached restaurant was brilliant. The cathedral and the green were visible from my suite. It was the perfect place to stay.

Breakfast was excellent with lovely produce, our table overlooked the cathedral so we could enjoy the views.The lady who served us was so friendly. All shops, restaurants,pubs and the cathedral were within a few minutes walk.Our only problem was finding an overnight car park close by.
