The Property attempted to charge me a locals only deposit that was never mentioned anywhere until checkin well after cancelation deadline in any of my bookings and is borderline illegal and unethical

Easy location for the event we were attending. Clean and comfortable with good amenities. Check in process was a nightmare. Took way too long to check in compared to our previous stay at this same property. Finally, got checked in and my wife wanted a cup of "complimentary" coffee in the lobby. Coffee was completely cold and front desk staff was alerted and they promised to take care of it. Attempted to check in online multiple times to avoid delays at the front desk and was met with an error on their end. No explanation was given at the front desk for the error or the long check in process.

Overall, enjoyed my stay here. The pool was clean and perfect for a hot summer day. The breakfast buffet was also great, there were options for people that wanted to eat a little bit more healthy, and people that wanted a traditional American breakfast. The property was extremely clean and the staff was very professional and accommodating. Parking was easy and it was nice and quiet. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area again or at other locations!
