Decent stay. Location was quiet. There’s not much of an area to walk dogs-only a few areas of gravel. Someone there has been feeding the stray cats, which created an issue while walking my dogs due to number of cats around the property and all the cat food that was out.

Motel 6 has been around for a long time, so the property is older, however, this property seems to be well-maintained for its age. The room I got was very clean, the TV was an updated LG flat screen, and the internet was fast and stable. Typical of an older motel there are just a few wall plugs on the middle of the walls. If you want to plug in a computer or phone charger at the room desk you might need an extension cord. (I carry a portable extension cord/surge protector with me as part of my travel gear). Bottom line - the room was very good, very clean, had a comfortable bed (no bed bugs, I checked thoroughly), a very friendly staff, quick check-in and check-out, and an all-around good deal for the money. I was just passing through so it was an excellent overnight stay. This is where I will be staying next time I’m passing through Wendover.

Unpleasant stay!

First, went to check in and the check in area smelled in what I can only describe as very sour. No one was there to check us in. We waited for many minutes. Still no one! We left to find a restroom because we had been driving for a long time. Went back a second time....still no one to check us in. We even went to the room next to the check in and knocked with no answer. We were now thinking something might be wrong so we tried calling the local Wendover police to do a welfare check. Their office is closed on weekends. Called the Motel 6 number and finally someone answered and said they were there. We know they hadn't been for at least 20 to 30 minutes. We had reserved a accessible room as we have someone with severe heart issues and limited mobility issues that needs to sit while showering. We went back to check in we were given a regular room. When we told the clerk that we had reserved an accessible room he said not available. There were maybe 6 or 7 vehicles in the entire parking lot. The room was dirty, smelled and looked like the bedspread had been soiled by some kind of liquid. I understand this is a motel and not a hotel and we have stayed at this property multiple times over the years....without an issue. In the future we will be trying other properties for our overnight stays.

Rooms and hotel need updating. Building is run down and area wasn’t clean. Old rooms needing updating. Old linens, bedding and towels. Booked based on guest ratings (7.4). I’d give it a 4 tops. Door lock was kinda sketchy. Won’t be booking there again.
