The positive points: This is a beautiful hotel with excellent views of the ocean! The nova restaurant has amazing food and the weight staff is very friendly and a tentative. They will be happy to give you recommendations of what to do around the island. The rooms come with a coffee maker, sink and basic kitchen essentials. The bathtub is huge!
The little beach area in front of the hotel has really comfy beds and umbrellas. But there’s no beach access to the water because it’s rocky. However, there is a dock with a ladder that you can use. The pool and the hot tub are also amazing!!
Things to know:
-when we checked in, there was no one manning the reception. You will be asked to download WhatsApp if you don’t already have it and call a number where they will send you a code to the room lock.
-you must ask to have your room cleaned. We didn’t know this until the third day. We asked on the third day and were disappointed that they did come. I texted again and finally on the fourth day we got fresh towels and our room cleaned.
-We did not drink the tapwater, but the wait will be happy to fill up your water bottles from the bars filtered water.
-there is an amazing restaurant on site called Nova. The wait staff is awesome and the food is delicious but it did cost US$104 for two hamburgers and one glass of wine.
Overall, this is an awesome place to stay is off the beaten path from several mile Beach, but not far to get to some good snorkeling sites.
