This is a place to stay out of necessity not great for a vacation home. It was really worn and didn’t seem very well maintained. There were barely enough towels and no hand towels for the bathrooms (we had to borrow hand towels from family) and only one hand towel in the kitchen. The kitchen was not well stocked. We had to buy salt and pepper and olive oil for cooking. Any other place we’ve stayed has had at least minimal spices. The hair dryer was broken. The decor was VERY dated. It did have good showers. The upstairs mattress seemed old not very comfortable. The pillows were flat and sad. The lock box with only one set of keys was a pain. It would have been better to have a door lock with a code, especially since it sleeps 6. The carpet was stained. The screen door was broken and didn’t close on its own and if you didn’t get it latched properly the wind would blow it open and it would creek and bang against the house. There were tall weeds in the front of the house. You could smell cigarette smoke in the entryway of the house. The most positive thing I could say about it was the location was right near our family that lives in Fargo and near the place we were having the celebration of life for my MIL and it’s in a good neighborhood.
