Your cabin features unobstructed views of over 2 acres of seasonal wildflower meadows and pristine nature. Dogs are also welcome to enjoy their very own dog spa! With a beautiful master suite, well-appointed kitchen, and in unit laundry, we have ensured that all the comforts of home are at your fingertips.

The space:

Welcome to Collie Cottage:(1 of 2 Cabins) Your Home Away from Home.

Experience complete privacy in this modern cabin, featuring a secluded patio and covered deck, overlooking a scenic, tree-lined landscape.

Inside, the great room boasts a fully equipped kitchen, La-Z-Boy pull-out Tempur-Pedic queen sleeper sofa, and a unique suspended wood burning fireplace, completing the space’s intimate ambience. Unwind in the master suite, which includes a luxurious king hybrid mattress and a beautiful bathroom fitted with a rainfall shower head.

Exit from the master onto an exquisite outside patio which features a spacious, Hot Springs, hot tub with one seat being a lounger.

Relax in a custom timber pergola bed swing while the fire crackles near by in an 8ft steel fabricated chiminea. Other patio features include 4 Adirondack chairs, propane grill and 4 rail fenced in backyard. Firewood provided for both indoor and outdoor fire features.

Exiting the back of the property leads you to a walking path that goes along the perimeter of 2+ acres of seasonal wildflowers, almost like entering a fairytale surrounded by millions of blooms, some reaching up to 6-12ft. There is a combined 1/2 mile of walking paths on the property to enjoy. Listen to songbirds, relax, and watch pollinators such as hummingbirds, dragonflies, bees, butterflies and hawk moths thrive amongst the wildflowers.

The evening brings a quiet seclusion on to the property, where the stars take the stage and the milky way comes out, while coyotes sing their song in to the night.

Guest access:
The property features gated access and a smart lock front door entry. Guests receive unique passcodes that are valid for the duration of their stay.

Other things to note:

*No additional Pet Fees* Note: Pets (dogs) must be declared at time of booking.

Shepherds Lantern Acres must know how many dogs are on the property at all times for safety of all guests and other pets.

Declaring dogs at the time of booking allows additional accommodations to be set ahead of your arrival.

This includes sofa protector and throw over chairs if dogs do go on furniture and ensuring the dog spa is ready for use.
