The home is located in an industrial area. The neighborhood is very rundown and extremely noisy. Large trucks and vehicles are constantly driving by the house which is located less than 30 feet from the road. Additionally the overpass for route 95 is adjacent to the house which provides even more noise, not to mention the train tracks located 100 yards away and the continual rail activity bringing yet more noise.The house is located directly across the street from a woman’s rehab facility. There was insufficient parking for two vehicles. The ad on VRBO showed two shade providing umbrellas around the pool area. There were no umbrellas available for our stay. We enjoy playing corn hole and we were excited to see that the ad in VRBO included a corn hole game, unfortunately there were no bean bags to use. The kitchen had no oven mitts making using the oven challenging. Overall we were quite disappointed with our stay at this location and will consider this when using a service like VRBO in the future.

There were ants in one bathroom when we got there and were told the exterminator would come and fix the problem. After he came they started showing all over the house in the bedrooms including in the beds.

Trashed by previous renters

Check in was supposed to be 4:00. Still didn’t even have front door code. Maids were still there until 5. Towels were put away still damp. Trash wasn’t put out & had maggots in it. We were told previous renters trashed the place & broke the ladder to the pool. Also told the ladder would be fixed in a day…. It was not fixed at all! Dryer didn’t work. Owner informed us that you need to hold the door closed while pushing the start button. Not in the best part of town, right under a highway bridge & next to train tracks.The house itself is cozy. My boys enjoyed the bunk beds. There’s a tv in every room. Spacious closets. I enjoyed the Kuerig with coffee pods in the kitchen. There’s also plenty of kitchen dishes & utensils. Wish the check-in was smoother & the damage from other renters was fixed.

Overall a fantastic stay. The yard was great, house was clean and modern. Communication was great as well. Would definitely stay again!
