Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
We rated this hotel as low as possible (would have rated it negative if that was an available choice) because management withheld 70 of our 150 deposit for damage we did NOT cause. We videotaped the room when we arrived to document its condition, then left for dinner after about an hour. When we returned, we found new damage to the kitchen wall that had NOT been there before, and the wall already showed signs of prior repairs and bulging. We immediately notified management that we did not feel safe as we believe someone had entered the room. We have videos, photos, and text messages supporting our account of what happened. The room itself was clean and nice, but the surrounding area did not feel safe, and parking was very limited. When we asked what to do if no parking spots were available when we return from dinner, we were told we could pay 15 for one of two reserved spots, which we did because parking elsewhere did not feel safe. Think rationally: Why would we videotape the room upon arrival and then proceed to cause damage? There are other reviews where people feel their deposit was unjustly withheld. Do a search. It's not worth staying at this facility! Especially if you want peace of mind! Before and after photos attached and one showing us putting chairs in front of the door in case anyone broke in we could hear them.
