The home - located off of pavement - sits on 5 acres and comes completely equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer at your disposal. The vaulted ceilings, original wood beams, and stone walls make this cozy cottage one of the most character-packed and charming stays you'll find near MHK.

My husband and I wanted a cozy little get away for our anniversary & the lil school house was so perfect!!! It’s a nice rural setting and very well taken care of and remodeled so cute!!! I am so happy they had ceiling fans- that is one of my must haves anywhere we stay!!! We had everything we needed and excellent communication with our hosts!! It’s about 20 minutes into Manhattan and Tuttle Creek which was great since we brought our kayak!! It was the perfect stay!!

What a gem,I almost wanted to keep it a secret..lolThe area is so beautiful,its my favorite part of KS,loved being so close to the lake. The house is darling and definitely well stocked with pretty much everything you need. I slept very well here,and enjoyed all the animals. I hope to come back next year.
