Built from local sandstone with a red pantile roof, Curlew Cottage, named after one of its most frequent visitors started life as a tractor shed and has been wonderfully renovated and now offers luxurious holiday accommodation on one level. There is a large barn on-site, which is fully alarmed and monitored by CCTV, which is perfect for storing bicycles. Situated in a semi rural position some 1 1/2 miles from the village of Lealholm, this highly sought after, delightful holiday home offerings peace and tranquility alongside a small sheep farm. Excellent footpath walks can be accessed direct from the door, or for those wishing to explore the North York Moors and Coast, numerous attractions are easily accessible by car, including Grosmont, terminus of the Steam Railway, Goathland where the TV series Heartbeat is based and of course the bustling resorts of Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
