Excellent footpath walks direct from the door ensure a perfect retreat for the outdoor enthusiast, or for those who enjoy exploring, the bustling fishing port of Whitby is some 5 miles away offering numerous attractions, or enjoy an outing to Goathland, alias Aidensfield in the TV series of Heartbeat.

Holiday experience

The property itself was very nice and spacious and in a nice location However we were very displeased with the standard as it was not as actually described in relation to the website It was tired and in places had not been cleaned for a while and the mattress covers and pillows left a lot to be desired Overall we could not recommend this stay in this property We would like to know exactly when it had its refurbishment As the website does not say and turned out it was most misleading. We are more than welcome to be contacted if needed to answer any questions
