Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire about options.



Guest Access:

Our condos are keyless locks, you will have a personalized door code made for you. Please follow the arrival instructions that will be sent through Airbnb messages



Other Things to Note:

The condo furnishes each reservation with a starter set of consumables that includes sample size shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, sponges for dishes, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, kitchen and bathroom towels. Once this starter set is exhausted, it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase additional provisions.

Our stay was perfect at this village, the staff was there when needed, the house was clean, the location is great with a great view and the distance from Whitefish and other places was good. If I ever come back to Whitefish I would book with them again.

We loved staying at Ptarmigan Village. Everything was just right, and we were able to visit Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead Lake/Wild Horse Island, and Martin Falls. The unit was just right. We’ll definitely return! Patty at the main office is a GEM! Great experience, all around!

Nice place near Whitefish

I stayed with my family in this cabin for 4 nights. We had a great time, but I would say that the patio was not prepared to be outside, the furniture and bbq were all covered, and the kitchen was very unconfortable for a vacation home as I had to find the cooking ware around the kitchen cabinets, but overall it is a very nice cabin, with nice bedrooms. I think it would be perfect for winter time as it is 2 minutes from the Whitefish sky resorts, but it is a little bit too far for the summer as the entry of the park is around 30 minutes away. We had a beautiful time with my family, the cabin was perfect for our family with 3 small kids.

Read the Fine Print

This is not a three bedroom, it’s two and a loft. High level description is misleading. The front bedroom bedside lamps did not work, they were not plugged in and no outlets were available to plug them into. The bedding was comfortable enough and we slept well. The back bedroom was too cold with no heating. And the kitchen was difficult to use; disorganized, small, and not functional. I would not recommend it.
