Everything about the hotel itself was great except that it could use a bit more soundproofing. Whoever was in the room above us was quite noisy, sounding like the furniture was being tipped over. Those in our hallway that let their doors close on their own , essentially slamming them, made for some disturbance. All else was fine and we would stay there again.

Renos were being done on our floor and heavy paint smell, had to walk around old fridges and other building materials. Also - door was banged on at 8am - while we had a do not disturb - and ask our names by some man who didn’t identify himself - then he said he didn’t have us on his list. Did we get switched to that room, what is our last name, blah blah blah. At 8am when you were hoping to sleep in it was super annoying.
