Staff friendly & bathroom was very slippery not enough towels no room service if you stay more than one night & coming from Auckland after work on a Friday night to be there before 6.30 or need to pay for late key pick up & ph mobile n’t work Thames google show cut though but never again we use that RD

The queen bed was very uncomfortable, I had a rather sleepless night tossing and turning constantly trying to get comfortable. The pillows were no better all being very thick with no thinner options provided, tv only seemed to work with episodes on tvnz but movies would cut out constantly. Couldn’t connect my Disney account or Netflix. Room was so hot!! No aircon. Overall I didn’t feel it was worth what I paid for the night, definitely won’t stay there again.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was lovely. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is stunning, just across the road from a paradise-like beach. Guest handbook was very informative. People were friendly in town.

The TV reception was poor with a lot of interference when on standard TV. When online viewing there was some lagging and then completely lost connection so unable to complete watching movie.

This was the second time staying here. This time was during the winter, while the first was in the summer. This is a nice place to stay with clean and spacious rooms. Flat and easy walking distance to Buffalo beach, Ferry landing and town centre. The heater in the room was very efficient at keeping the temperature warm during cold mornings and nights. Staff were friendly and approachable. We werent aware that the laundry closed when the office hours finished in the evening and when we returned to collect the washed clothes the door was locked, however with a phone call they came promptly to help. We enjoy swimming and used the pool in the summer. We had seen on the website prior to coming this second time that the pool was heated to 29 degrees, however the water felt cold to touch when we went to the pool and so didn’t end up using the pool this time
