Check-in was easy and the staff was accommodating. When we arrived, the elevator was out of service, so they moved us to a first-floor room, which we appreciated. They also allow dogs, making it a convenient option for travelers with pets. That said, the motel has an overall run-down feel. It seems like they’re trying to improve it, but there are still several issues. The surrounding area didn’t feel particularly safe, and there was suspicious activity in the parking lot that made us uncomfortable. The towels were very thin and low quality, the microwave looked like it had caught fire at some point, and there was a dead roach on the floor when we entered the room. If you’re simply looking for an inexpensive place to sleep for the night with your dogs and these kinds of things don’t bother you, it serves its purpose.
