Wheatsheaf Apartment, Abbeytown is a spacious first-floor retreat located above the village pub of the same name, which is open on weekends only. Perfect for families or couples, it offers a relaxing base for exploring both the Lake District and the Solway Coast. Fully furnished and well equipped, the apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether you're visiting for a short break or a longer getaway.

Outside, the rooftop terrace is a real sun trap, complete with seating and a firepit; the ideal spot to unwind on summer evenings while enjoying the sunset. With the addition of a sofa bed in the lounge, prepared in advance when booked for extra guests, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to six people.

Access is via an external staircase leading to the private roof terrace with patio furniture and firepit. Inside, the welcoming lounge features L-shaped seating, a Smart TV, and a feature fireplace with electric fire, alongside an additional sofa that converts into a bed (available for a surcharge and made up ready for arrival).

The spacious dining kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with chilled water dispenser, freezer, dishwasher, and air fryer, as well as a dining table perfect for family meals, board games, or leisurely morning coffees while planning the day ahead. The hallway provides plenty of room for coats and walking boots, and there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests' convenience.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an original feature fireplace, while the second bedroom offers twin beds that can be converted into a super king-size on request. The family bathroom includes a bath, separate shower cubicle, and wash basin.

Gas, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included. A cot and highchair are available on request, and there is ample private parking. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop terrace with seating and firepit, along with access to the pub's beer garden with picnic benches.
