Start the day with a view of the Churfirsten, wind down the evening in the garden by the fireplace and watch the children playing in the games room – the Steinrüti holiday home offers ideal conditions for relaxed family holidays in Wildhaus. The quiet hillside location provides a wonderful view and at the same time good accessibility to the village centre. The holiday home, comprehensively renovated in 2010 and featuring chalet character, offers plenty of space for shared holiday days. The living area is located on the upper floor and, with its fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms, creates a pleasant atmosphere for families. The former bedroom in the basement has been converted into a spacious games room with numerous toys and entertainment electronics, offering children their own area to play. The basement also contains a laundry and storage room with washing machine, tumble dryer and a separate toilet. The double bedroom has been moved to the attic and complements the other bedrooms perfectly. In summer, the garden with fireplace quickly becomes a meeting point for cosy barbecue evenings or relaxed hours outdoors. The unobstructed view of the Churfirsten accompanies you throughout the day. In summer, the region offers a variety of hiking and cycling opportunities. The mountain railways and numerous attractions are within a short drive. In winter, you can reach the village square in around five minutes, from where the ski bus stop offers convenient connections to the Wildhaus ski areas. Winter hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are also among the diverse options in the region. Good to know: Direct access to the house is not possible. From Mittelweg, a roughly 50-metre footpath leads across a meadow to the holiday home, which is mown in summer and cleared in winter. Luggage can be unloaded directly at Mittelweg. Parking spaces are available at the Chuchitobel multipurpose hall. In winter, we recommend a vehicle with all-wheel drive or snow chains due to the steep access road. In heavy snowfall, luggage can alternatively be unloaded at the village square. From there, you can reach the house in around five minutes on foot.
