Welcome to Unit 509 at The Madrid, a serene 1 bedroom oceanfront escape in Wildwood Crest. This top-floor unit provides gorgeous ocean views, perfect for watching the morning sunrise. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, and the bathroom is modern as well. You'll have comfortable sleeping arrangements with two full/double beds in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Take advantage of the beachfront pool, BBQ grills, and one reserved parking space included.

Place was winterized still (April booking), filthy, mold in fridge, toilet leaking, sink clogged. I was refunded my money after sitting in limbo for 2.5hrs waiting for communication so I could transfer to a different location.

Owners supplies a few small toiletries.Good: Room/Suite was in good conditionOK: Bathroom was fine but needs some TLCNot so good: only 1 key to the condo supplied; although there was a ceiling fan in Bedroom, I had to place my personal fan in the hallway to pull in the cold air.Bad: HOA never returned my phone call regarding my lost/found credit card someone said they had.

Great location and very clean

Spent a long weekend and the property has an amazing view with a nicely decorated interior. The pool was great and the attached restaurant is worth a trip. The only negatives are the beds. They are not comfortable and the pillows provided are the plastic hospital ones. So bring your own pillows for comfort because they will make you sweat even with a pillow cover since the bedroom does not have air conditioning. The headboards are also not attached to the beds so as the bed moves the head bard leans over the bed. Also no child will be able to flush the toilet. It takes a lot of force to push the handle.

Outstanding Location

This is a cute little beach-front condo with easy access to the beach. It's a short drive to the boardwalk and many restaurants. It's location makes it worth it. The pool looks well maintained and clean. Downsides - The bathroom is in need of some work. There is a mold problem coming from the sink which made the bathroom super smelly and hard to be in for any amount of time. The toilet handle is super stiff and hard to flush, the tank fills VERY slowly so with a group, allow time between people using it. The shower has so/so water pressure but works. The two beds in the bedroom are comfortable enough (soft, not firm) but super loud with every movement. If you are not getting the linen package, be sure to take a good mattress cover for the pullout. It has a very stained foam mattress and other people's hair, etc. on it. The other two beds included a cover but not the pull-out. A/C unit works well but does not reach the bedroom so it gets HOT in there, even with the fan and window open, late in the season. All-in-all, it was very clean (minus the mattress on the pullout). AWESOME location and views that would make it worth going back.
