We were initially excited about renting the house at 2690 Theater Rd in Williams Bay, WI, but our enthusiasm quickly dissipated upon arrival. The interior decorating and furniture quality fell short of our expectations. The artwork on the walls was hung at inconsistent heights, and the prominent piece above the garage entryway was noticeably crooked. The furniture appeared worn, with stained dining room chairs. A significant issue arose when I attempted to shower after arriving in the rain. The water emitted a strong, unpleasant odor reminiscent of hydrogen sulfide. This smell persisted even after running the water for an extended period. Unfortunately, the water quality was subpar throughout the house, rendering it unsuitable for consumption or personal hygiene. Further inspection revealed additional concerns: •The master shower had a large crack in the bottom that had been inadequately repaired.•The wood floor in the master bath was loose, posing a tripping hazard.•A hole in the wall near the master bedroom door suggested the absence of a doorstop.•The wallpaper in the master shower was peeling, and the jacuzzi tub showed signs of inadequate cleaning.•The comforter on the master bed had noticeable stains.The kitchen also presented several issues: •The faucet's water flow was disrupted when both hot and cold water were turned on simultaneously, resulting in surging and cessation of water flow.•The water temperature became scalding hot when the cold water was t
