Griffin itself was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Excellent lower price option on property. Checking in at the main inn seemed confusing and staff appeared to be new and in training. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Our room was clean, large, beds comfortable, bathroom and two sink areas were convenient. I bought a room for my wife and son. when they checked in the hotel wouldn't give them a room without first talking to me on the phone... 1. I didn't like this, the room was paid for. 2. how does the hotel know who was on the phone? if it was a fraud, how would they know. seems pretty dumb to me. no problem, we will not be going back.

Huge room in a quiet, wooded setting. Slightly-dated furnishing, but everything was very clean. I highly recommend for family travel—six people would not feel crowded in the room. Also good for business travel since it had a large desk, good lighting and decent WiFi.
