I would not recommend this place to anyone! It smelled musky and like it hadn’t been aired out for a year. The TV shut off every ten minutes. The bathroom out let did not work. The ice machine didn’t work. There was mold on the wall. It looked like it hadn’t been updated for years! We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else!

Not bad for older place. Could use remodeling. But similar to other hotels in area unless stay at a couple of newer franchise places which usually do. But the staff was great and towels were clean. Great for night when spend all day at Busch Gardens and just need to crash overnight. Been to hotels around there that were so bad couldn’t do that. Prices was great because came with friends and my kids. Like the 2 bedrooms and upstairs had sleeper couch. Would do again for short stay. I am also very picky so this is a good review.

Just a quick hotel after being at Bush Gardens all day. It seems to me the receptionist did not know what she was doing.

Budget friendly, comfort not so much

This has been our go to place in Williamsburg in the last because it is budget friendly. This time the room was definitely average but more along the lines of what to expect when thinking of a budget. As with most older motels/hotels, room smelt a little musty upon arrival. Room was clean which is a big plus to me. Furnishings were aged but in decent condition. Providing a stand on each side of the bed a side chair to the bed, dresser, desk and a table and chairs to sit and eat if necessary. Room was incredibly spacious which was also nice. However, the bed left a bit to be desired. The sheets were clean, but were very aged and discolored. The mattress was extremely hard and felt like you were laying directly on the floor. At around 11 pm the air conditioner lost power and would not turn back on. When we questioned staff regarding this, they tried to be helpful but just kept saying it would turn on and off when temp was met. Couldn’t get them to understand there was no power to it at all at first. Then they realized it kicked a breaker. Got it fixed and it happened again the next evening. Decided to leave early the last night scheduled. Traveling home beat sleeping on that bed with the air conditioning cutting off.

Don't recommend

Bad right from the start during check in. Clerk charged me an extra $15 for having children. Didn't get the room i paid for. I was suppose to have the signature suite, paid for it before getting there. Received the standard $70 room. When questioned the clerk, he stated he didn't have rhat room available. Granted, check in , is at 3pm., and I arrived at 4:15. The room had a musty smell, very outdated, but otherwise clean. The light in the bathroom had pieces of paper towels in between the fixture and ceiling. No bed bugs which was probably the plus side besides the ac window unit working fine. The bathroom only had 2 towels, there were 5 of us. Went the next morning to the office for more towels, was give only 2 and was told to being those back to the office once we used them. Pretty sketchy to me. Will not stay again when returning to the area.
