Decent for the price.

The room was okay. There was a stained chair. There was a fly in the room which I killed, then hours later another fly showed up. The next day another fly showed up. They were getting in somewhere, and not the front door. The bed was soft, and it turned out to be comfortable. The pillows were horrible, just bring your own if you want pillow support. The water pressure in the shower was ok, the shower / toilet area was pretty small but for the price it was ok. The fake wood floor they use gets ice cold when you run the air conditioning which we did because it was 90 degrees outside. Ended up putting on socks to help with a very cold floor. The AC worked great, no issues. The room was also quiet, didn't hear anybody else, and the rooms were occupied next to us. The swimming pool was great, big for a cheaper hotel, and the water was pretty clean. The guy cutting the grass wasn't the greatest, he ended up using a weed wacker, and a lot of grass ended up getting in the pool floating around which nobody would clean until the next day, and this was around 3pm.

Location is good. It is near a Bob Evans Restaurant which is very nice place to eat breakfast. Rooms were not as clean as in the past, but it looks like housekeepers on one side of the hotel complex do a better job cleaning than the other side. I switched rooms, that is how I know.

BED BUGS STAY AWAY

I called before making reservations to make sure we could have connecting rooms and that thebpool was open. Was told yes to both. We get there and no the pool isnt open and no to connecting rooms. Get what rooms they give us and it had bed bugs.. told them. They said a mangaer would call us. Nothing. Went down again with a cupfull of bugs and still nothing. Offerd us new blankets was all. Checked out and still asked for manager and still nothing. Bed bugs everywhere!! The one room was so dirty. They didnt wipe down anything. We had 2 rooms for 7 people. We had to stay in one of the rooms that didnt have bugs.. that we saw. Had to come home and detail car and throw away all our clothes because i dont want them. We still havent heard from anyone.

You get what you pay for

Our stay at this EL was a true testament to, "you get what you pay for." I knew it wasn't going to be high end & bougie but I literally felt cringy and a bit unsafe staying here. The best part of this location was the location. It was incredibly convenient to satisfy our vacation needs and conveniently located to access restaurants and family-fun entertainment. The pool in the corridor was nice and clean with plenty of seating options to accommodate multiple guests. And now, the concerns... our room reeked of urine as if somebody before us stood at the vanity sink instead of toilet to relieve themselves on the floor. There was visible signs of mold growth in the bathroom shower and the curtain, trust me, you don't want the curtain to touch you while bathing. The beds were alright but don't do a bedbug check because you will see the stains of previous visitors upon the mattress you will be resting on. Don't even get me started on the nastiness of the tv remote. I'm just hoping a child was eating a sticky bun surfing for cartoons rather than the alternative. We had to ask for extra towels and extra pillows. You will need at least 2 pillows to equal a typical pillows support. The towels are your typical 80/20 grit of almost going to wrap around your body. The INSTANT coffee machine is in the lobby but not till 7 am so don't be an early riser expecting coffee. Ooh, and there is NO BREAKFAST so, that accommodation is a lie.

I requested king bed, room had a full bed. Was not very clean at all. Missing cabinet doors. I requested extra towels and sheets that were never brought. Not worth the money we paid at all. Room was supposed to have crib also and did not.

It was very outdated Very dirty They have trash cans by the steps and they smell terrible when people throw trash and pile up You first walked in to get to your room to the hotel there's a trash can with somebody shoe on top and a bunch of beer cans They're cleanliness is not the best there The rooms are very outdated The bathrooms are kind of dirty They need to clean the walls better An update their inside of their hotel And better cleanliness on the inside
