Peaceful

The house is located on an inlet of the lake so we had an unobstructed view of the lake from the porch. We were there for a wedding and did not have a lot of time to take advantage of the water sports in the area. Our host was very responsive and helpful!

Charming lake-side cottage

We were so impressed with this lodging. It had four powerful a/c units (extremely important in Southeast TX during the summer,) the beds were comfy, and it was well laid out to host people in a small space. It didn't feel all that small. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the front porch watching the lake in the morning. Thank you for sharing!

Relaxing!

Great little space but still 3 bedrooms. Lake is outstanding and if you are paddle boarding or kayaking, this is a great little spot. Host was outstanding.

Cute Little Artsy home

We loved the artsy feel of this home and the bright and colorful decor. It's just a few yards off of the lake. It was a little difficult to find because the GPS doesn't quite get you there but the host provided thorough instructions. To me, the only downside was that I would have liked the check-in info 24 hours before (instead of a few hours), but understand there can be reasons for this.

Although I could feel my toe nails melting I absolutely enjoyed staying here. The cabin made me feel at home. Thank you for taking care of the house so people like I can enjoy it. I would love to get back there when it’s a touch cooler.

Our great niece booked Big Sky Barn for her wedding. So my husband & I decided to make it a weekend getaway.The location of your cottage to the venue was perfect. Your cottage was clean & so nicely decorated. Great view of the water. The swimming pool on the property was a plus.

Emergency housing

Where we stayed was not where we rented. The house we rented on lake Conroe was surrounded by water. They found a nice house not too far away but the window in one bedroom leaked so we used towels to keep the floor and wall dry. The pool was also closed due to the water invading the pump house. We have rented over 40 houses over the years and this was a first for us

Perfect Spring Break Getaway w Family and Friends

We rented this adorable cottage along with the one next door for a 2 family spring break getaway. We had kids ranging from age 6-21 and every one of them had a blast. We were able to bring fun games and activities (cornhole, inflatable kayaks, fishing poles, small fire pit, black stone griddle, football, wiffle ball, kites) to play outside for the majority of the time we were there. This was one of the best vacations we have had as a family in a very long time. The unobstructed view of the lake was our favorite!! The porch was where we spent most of our time chatting, napping, laughing and watching ALL THE DUCKS! The home was such a fun vibe, very clean and the local neighbors were all very kind and friendly. Melissa and Scott were wonderful hosts and were available for whatever we needed. We hope to spend time here again in the future!

Long Weekend to move

Unfortunately we had to move a friend home to Michigan do to a death in the family. This meant we needed a place to stay. We chose this beautiful lake front place and were very pleased with the entire process during this stressful time. Host Melissa was amazing and very accommodating. The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed to get rest during the move. Awesome views, low traffic, quiet neighbors all helped to make our time here restful. Our only regret is we didn't have time to truly enjoy the site.
