There is only one light that works in the pool area. We stayed here in December and it was the exact same situation. It is fine during the day but it is too dark to safely swim in the pool after dark. Bathroom in the pool area could use cleaning but the pool area itself was nice and clean. Kids also said the pool was really cold.

We arrived around 5pm Friday night there were no staff at the front desk to check us in. We had to call a number to have someone wait on us. Our room was not ready for us. I asked if they were short staffed he said no people just didn't want to do their jobs. We left and met family for dinner and returned at 9:00pm and the cleaning person was across from our room with their music blasting. There was a dog down the hallway that barked through the night. Will not stay there again.
