Didn’t get our cabin confirmation and code until over 2+ hours after check-in. Had to reach out multiple times, was hard to get ahold of someone, and couldn’t get in to our place or didn’t know where to go on property. Also, dishes/kitchen were not clean (stained/not fully clean). Lastly, I had previously stayed here 2 weeks prior and had great communication and a clean cabin and it included a s’mores kit, welcome kit, coffee, water, fire starter kit and hand written note. This time ( 2 weeks later) it seemed prepared last minute and all kit items are now charged per item and not included in the rental.
It was quiet until a big party pulled up in the next cabin on our 2nd day. They are spread apart but the noise traveled. The roads to the cabins were a bit bumpy in some spots.

Our stay at as amazing and worth the drive! The postcard said be in the now and that's what we did! Will be coming back!
My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and honestly it was the best decision i could’ve made. We were amazingly accommodated and had everything we could’ve wanted and more included in our stay. The location was so beautiful and peaceful and the cabin and experience was even better than the pictures online. I would recommend Post Card Cabins in Hill Country to everyone, especially if you’re looking for a getaway.

This quaint little cabin was a pleasure to stay in, for me and my grandson (8yrs). It was set up with almost everything we needed and was a unique and naturally beautiful stay vs hotels. There were a couple things I’d suggest to improve the next persons’ stay, perhaps.
1.) I know it’s not about how we look when we are enjoying the outdoors, but some type of mirror would come in handy. I wear contacts and needed a mirror to put them in and also just to make sure my ponytail/bun is straight.
2.) I couldn’t find anywhere on the website stating that it wouldn’t be okay for disabled persons. I’ve never really considered myself disabled, but I did find myself having issues with the step into the bathroom and the one to bottom platform of lower bunk. I had to use a chair to brace myself to get both feet and then rest of body in the lower bunk. Coming down from bunk, I just slowly let myself skid down to land my bottom on step. SO, maybe a tiny step stool that would make the stairs easier for those of us with really bad knees. The stairs into the cabin weren’t bad because they have a handrail.
Post card cabin review
We had a lovely stay at the Postcard Cabin! The space was clean, cozy, and peaceful—everything we needed for a relaxing escape. We’ll definitely be going back!
One thing worth highlighting is the local market area nearby. It had such a charming mix of small shops, local goods, and even a beautiful little French wine restaurant that made for a really special outing. It gave the trip an extra touch of charm and connection to the community.
Also, while Brookshire Brothers is mentioned for groceries, we found the nearby H-E-B to be super convenient with a wider selection—definitely good to know when planning your stay.
Highly recommend this cabin and the whole experience!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was small and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The property is beautiful and quiet and is only a short drive away to downtown Wimberly and area’s like Jacob’s Well, The Blue Hole and Old Baldy. We appreciated the small added touches like the S’mores kit, tea, coffee and even firewood for the fire pit. This is definitely a place we will come back too.
We found our family weekend or short getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! Our stay was amazing!! Our first time here and we were so surprised that everything you need to stay comfortably with all the basic necessity are well provided. Our kids had a wonderful time too. We will definitely come back.

Perfect Getaway
If you are looking to unwind and ‘unplug’ this is the place for you. Sit out by the campfire and just relax. They have everything you need. S’mores kit, pour over coffee, insect repellant, utensils and cookware. So many thoughtful touches. Shower was good and it stayed nice and cool. The walking trail is very nice. We stayed in the ‘Kim’. It was tucked nicely away in the trees. You really feel like you are all alone. Our cellular service worked just fine (my husband has AT&T and I use Verizon). They do not, however, have a tv. You really don’t need one if you want to have the true experience of staying in these cabins.
First off folks. This is camping. Plan on spending very little time in this cabin. It is small, and as an avid camper, a poorly laid out floor plan. If one person wants to move…everyone has to move. The area in my stay (Wemberley TX) was great. Quiet, remote, and well taken care of. It did have cell service, which is a must for navigation around there. The “cabin” was clean, warm/cool, dry. The plumbing worked with typical camper style. If you’re ok with not being pampered and roughing it out of a mini home, I highly recommend this place. If you’re expecting your spacious camper or a nice hotel room, this isn’t it.

Quiet and Quaint
We needed a quick place to stay for my husband’s work. We wanted a quiet, quaint place to relax before the conference. Postcard Cabins was just the place and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
