Welcome to Shady Grove, your Hill Country retreat in the heart of Wimberley. This spacious 1,766 sq. ft. home is designed for comfort and connection, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and enough space to sleep up to eight guests. With two king beds, one queen bed, a twin trundle bed, and a crib, the layout is ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends traveling together. Each bedroom is equipped with black-out shades, so everyone can rest easy after a day of exploring.

The home offers a warm and inviting living space, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, and a dining area perfect for gathering around a meal. A separate room with a crib and high chair provides a comfortable space for children, while adults can relax outdoors in the private hot tub or around the wood-burning fire pit. Outside, you’ll find a large backyard oasis perfect for pets and children to explore, as well as a spacious front patio with comfortable furniture for morning coffee or evening relaxation. With both a charcoal and propane grill available, outdoor dining becomes part of the Hill Country experience.

Shady Grove is thoughtfully equipped with features that give you peace of mind. Smart lock entry allows for secure and private check-ins, while smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and a well-lit exterior ensure safety throughout your stay. The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized after every visit so you can relax the moment you arrive. Each stay is also professionally insured, providing added protection and comfort so you can book with confidence.

We’re happy to welcome your four-legged friends at Shady Grove! Dogs under 50 lbs are allowed, and with a fully fenced backyard, your pup can feel right at home moving safely between indoors and out. With plenty of space to explore and relax, it’s the perfect spot for the whole family. A maximum of two (2) dogs are allowed unless approved by management. And of course, owners are responsible for picking up after their pups—otherwise, we may have to charge a “bad dog” clean-up fee (and no one wants that).

Wimberley Market Days is within walking distance, so you can enjoy one of the largest and most popular markets in Texas without the hassle of parking. Some of the Hill Country’s favorite outdoor spots are also just minutes away—Blue Hole Regional Park (2.9 miles), Jacob’s Well Natural Area (3.8 miles), Cypress Falls Swimming Hole (2.0 miles), and Old Baldy Park (2.2 miles), where a short climb rewards you with breathtaking views. Nice location & outdoor areas

The location was great, close to town and easy to find. Very cute on the outside. Loved the grounds and the outdoor areas and hot tub were well done. We would have appreciated better craftmanship on the inside but furnishings made it nice enough. The water pressure was very low in the showers and not enough to wash long hair, but there was a tub that worked. The instructions were good and everything was labeled nicely. Thank you for the stay.

Best beds and soft sheets await your weary head at Shady Grove. The home is super clean, three bedrooms two baths and large kitchen and living. The home is very close to town and easy to find. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

Home away from Home

We enjoyed our stay at this home with family. The town of WImberly is a hidden treasure and this house is minutes away. It had everything that we needed to cook and the beds were very comfortable. Even in the Texas heat of 110 degrees, we stayed nice and cool. The hot tub was nice for relaxing at night. We enjoyed tubing at Horseshoe Bend in the refreshing cool water, which was only a short drive away. New Braunsfels is about 30 minutes away and offers fabulous restaurants and shopping. San Marcos is about 30 minutes away and offered great shopping at the outlets. It was always nice to get back to our house and relax. I would stay here again.

Charming and comfortable house close to cute and darling Wimberly downtown

Loved our stay at this darling southwestern decorated house. 8 of us (2 families) stayed here comfortably for spring break for 4 nights. The house was very clean and tidy and extremely cozy. The proximity to downtown Wimberly was a great bonus. We took day trips each day to Canyon Lake, Fredericksburg, and Gruene all within an hour drive...a beautiful drive! Wimberly is lovely and the people were even lovelier. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Place for Short or Long Stay

The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close to stores and restaurants. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived and was perfect for our stay as our daughter was getting married in a nearby town. We had older guests, so one attraction was that there were two walk-in showers. We also liked the fact that there was no carpet and that the property doesn't allow smoking or pets. We would choose this house again!

Good location for our event. The property had very comfortable beds and ample towels and linens. I didn't care for the bare concrete and tile floors. The house would benefit from some more rugs. The TV's were nice and the internet worked great.
