The Stables is a charming and characterful grade II listed building. From its elevated position the cottage overlooks Lake Windermere, the Langdale Pikes and Coniston Old Man and arguably enjoying one of the best views in the Lakes!
Much care and attention has been lavished on the renovation of this cosy cottage. The cottage is warm, welcoming and offers a real 'home from home' feel. The bustling Lakeland town of Windermere and its amenities are just over a mile away and the nearest shop and eatery at Troutbeck Bridge can be reached within a 5 minute walk. The Stables is the perfect base for couples, friends and families looking to explore the beauty of the central Lakes area.
Ground Floor
Entrance into the light and bright open plan living area, complete with slate flooring throughout.
The open plan sitting/dining room enjoys living flame gas stove, comfortable seating, TV & DVD player. Fantastic seasonal views can be enjoyed from the comfort of the dining table.
The charming open plan kitchen enjoys touch control electric hob with single oven & grill and is complete with a microwave and dishwasher.
There is also a small downstairs toilet/wet room and large garage space, complete with large fridge/freezer and washer dryer, the perfect space for the storage of cycles and outdoor gear.
First floor
A wooden staircase leads up to two spacious en suite bedrooms offering fantastic views.
Bedroom 1 - King size bed, en suite bathroom with bath, basin, wc and shower.
Bedroom 2 - Twin single beds, en suite bathroom with shower over bath, basin and wc.

A lovely lawned garden with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing and admiring the surrounding fells.
From the property guests can walk over Orrest Head viewpoint to Windermere Village. Footpaths also lead down to the local eatery & shop at Troutbeck Bridge.
