Nothing to dislike about my 3 night stay here, lovely room, comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast. Owners couldn't have been any friendlier and approachable. Great central location in the heart of Windermere.

Perfect location!

We arrived around 3.30/4pm on day of check in and thankfully got the final Parking space in the car park. The car park was very handy as the guest house is in a perfect location for an easy walk to the nearby bars and restaurants on the Main Street. We were in room 4 which was a lovely superior room. It was very clean and comfortable. However curtains would be an improvement to minimise the light that comes into the room through the blinds in the morning. There is no bottled water in rooms but Sainburys and Coop shops are just a short walk away on the Main Street. We had a cup of tea in the room but there didn’t appear to be many free and accessible plug sockets. The only ones we could see were over beside the TV but the cable wasn’t very long on the kettle so had to boil it on the floor which wasn’t ideal. However minor things just to make it even better! The breakfast was very nice in the morning. We will certainly return if ever in the Lake District and would recommend. Also go the Crafty Baa for drinks and snacks - lovely quaint pub only a few minutes walk away
